Most course software was shaped around the phone on the pro shop wall. The job has changed since then, so we started the tee sheet over.
ParZero started with a familiar Saturday: a tee sheet in one tab, a customer record in another, a payment processor in a third, and a spreadsheet doing the reconciliation that none of them would do. The tools were not broken. They just did not know about each other.
The incumbents solved a real problem when they were built. A tee sheet a member could see from home was a genuine advance. But the shape of the work moved. Rounds get booked from a phone at six in the morning, prices move by season and by hour, and a group running four courses needs one view instead of four logins.
So we set a narrow constraint: someone at the counter should be able to run a Saturday morning from a single screen, and everything else in the business should be reachable from that same login. That is why the tee sheet is seat-level rather than slot-level, why it holds a live connection instead of waiting for a refresh, and why money goes to the facility’s own Stripe account rather than through ours.
How we decide what to ship.
- The counter comes first
- The tee sheet is the screen the business actually runs on, so it gets the decisions. Everything else in the portal is arranged around not interrupting it.
- Opinionated defaults
- Seasons, peak windows, cart fees, and event overrides are configured once and applied when the sheet is generated, so the price on the row is already the right price. Customization exists where it earns its complexity.
- Your money, your account
- Checkout runs on Stripe Connect Express. Funds land in the facility's own bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule, and every course on a facility shares that one account.
- Nothing you cannot audit
- Staff bookings, cancellations, status changes, and payments are written to an activity log at both the course and the facility level, newest first.
